Mary McMahon was born at Ennis, County Clare, Ireland in about 1777 and died at Tuglow River near Black Springs NSW on 7 September 1859. Her first husband Philip Hogan was born at Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland in about 1766 and died on 22 May 1829. They had been married at St John's Church, Parramatta NSW on 26 March 1810. Her husband Philip is buried in St Patrick's cemetery at Parramatta but she is buried in White Springs Cemetery at Black Springs NSW. This cemetery is also known as the Old Black Springs cemetery.
